This is a nice sentimental poem about your wife passing away.
Yes, when you go back to places, it brings back some thoughts but it also makes you fell good knowing you shared it with someone you love. Notice I did not put a "d" on the end of love.
Your font is nice and so are the couplets.

This poem is filled with emotion, love, memories, and sadness, as it pays tribute to a lost love one. I can tell from your words how much you miss your true love. I'm sorry for your loss, but glad you have such vivid, happy memories.

I rated this piece clearly a six not because of form but content which pulled on my heartstrings. I say so to let you know you are not now or ever will be alone for I recall when two sets of footsteps in the sand became one, it was because the stronger of the two carried the other home.

very powerful poem about life, love, lost and the simple things of life like walking with the lover of your life by your side. My wife and I try to go for a daily 5 k walk don't always make it but we do it four to five times a week hard to imagine walking by my self.

A very caring sensitive poem. It expresses the severe loss experienced when our partner in life moves on to better pastures. Tears alone don't fill the void the heart feels. Yet, you have shown that you can convey the loss to us, your readers, and experience softly this grief. Enjoyed reading this eloquent poem.

This poem brings tears to my eyes. I can easily imagine how much you miss your wife and how difficult it must be to go on doing the same things you used to do together. You have to be very brave and strong, I think. I like how this was written, with perfect rhymes and a melodic meter, and consequently, it reads so smoothly and flows nicely. It touched my heart, so you managed to include the emotional factor as well. Well done in every way. Thanks for sharing. MM
