Hi Gypsy, a timely poem. Sadly, the World being in chaos is something that I frequently talk about. I especially liked:
splendid sunrises and sunsets
come and go
(Gypsy, splendid sunrises and sunsets may the One of the only things that unites the world during the unrestful time.)
Beautiful presentation and artwork choice. Well done. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

A beautiful poem Gypsy...As we find living in a world of chaos and upsetting headlines, there still is beauty to find in the sunrises and sunsets of the day.
Wonderful presentation.
Best wishes,

Another fine poem, Gypsy....and beauty is hard to come by in this ever more ugly world we find ourselves Trumpisised in, it's getting to be a rare thing indeed

That was a delightful thought you had for the tanka, Gypsy. It is so true that regardless the sun rises each day and sets each night, even when it is overcast. Blessed be n hugs!

Hi Gypsy Queen,
ebbs and flow. But change is always on the horizon of perspective and attitude to any given situation.
I guess, life marches forward in deliberate measured strides, no matter what's going on around us. We are the ones who seem to stall and baulk, even though the very same beauty surrounds us at all times.
He who remains calm while others around him are in chaos, will always see a more brighter-vibrant existence... no matter.
I love this presentation. The image chosen is stunning... I can see you by the water, walking-contemplating, breathing in the beauty... appreciating the 'consistently without fail'.
Yes Gypsy Queen, your beauty is both seen, and unseen.
"The poet paints the breath of life and awaits its birth."--Jumbo.
With our thoughts we create...
serenity of the soul.
Kind regards,
James.

Hello, James,
I love that you call me, "Gypsy Queen" it has a good sound and feeling. I had another friend, that past away, he also called me "gypsy queen" and 50 more ... hahaha ... he was really funny and always made me laugh. I've been called "Sensei", that means "teacher" in Japanese, That is when I was teaching Haiku. Anyway... I am sorry ... I regress.... lets get back. Your beautiful reviews always lift my spirit. You are very kind to me. I always appreciate that you take the time to give me a detailed and kind review. The six stars are icing on the cake...so sweet. I had fun with this one. I was happy when I found the picture, that came second, it seemed to fit in well.
Have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones.

"I am an artist, my hair is rarely tamed & sometimes I sleep till noon. My house is messy and I speak to the moon. I care less about the materials that I share with my world and more about the passion inside myself. I'm an artist, what more can you expect? i am full of soul, love and all the rest." ?― Nikki Rowe, about gypsy queens

"A World of Chaos"
A 5/8/3 Modern Tanka.
This was well written rich in theme and imagery.
Note: I would suggest a change in the beginning paragraph from the color of purple to a lighter possible pale green?
Yes, so it can be read easier.
Otherwise this was beautifully scripted and good luck with this one.

I like your tanka poem- good presentation picture- good visual for the reader - out of a chaotic universe world manages to consistently produce the order of consistent sunsets and sun rises every day! Good job

You have written a beautiful Modern Tanka, relating that nature will continue unabated, regardless of human muddle and attempts at destruction. I'm sure that this isn't strictly true, I think we're capable of messing up even Mother Nature, but I admire your optimism. Kate xx

So true. Nature remains faithfully following the rhythm that God created despite all the chaos that mankind creates on the planet. Another beautiful presentation!
