Wow. Wow has always been such an underwhelming word I find myself trying to avoid using but this poem has undeniably left me awe-struck. Seeing the way you've painted such scenery with both words and rhymes, rhythms too with such flow, it turns what's written into something more. Thanks for sharing. All the best and so much love.

Roy,

You always write inspirational poetry that touches the heart, soothes one's soul and lifts the spirit. This is another of your inspired writes that honors your faith and shares the glory of our Creator in every word penned. The reference verse Psalm 139:7-14 is perfect.

God bless,

Eugene

This is another lovely poem, Roy, with questions and answers. I loved the lines...
Yet where can darkness flee from light?
'cause God exists in deepest night.

We never think of God in the darkness, only the light. But of course He's there! He's everywhere, and will always be. No evil can enter where God stands. I really enjoyed the lesson in this one, my dear friend. Well done! :)) Sandra xx

God exists in the deepest night..I liked this line. He is there everywhere and darkness and light can ,at the same time, represent Him .It is His choice as to how He should appear..
Loved your spiritual poems..

I read this poem four times before feeling ready to respond ... Such a profound psalm to elicit these lines from you. I am always humbled to read works written by those so familiar with the psalms ... thank you for bringing this one to conscious level.

In 1967, two singers, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell released a secular song called, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," with words that included, no valley low enough, or river wide enough to keep me away from you. When I first read Psalm 139, which gave me great comfort, I thought of that song. But God goes much farther than the writer of the song ever imagined. I too, "love the light of early morn," knowing "God exists in deepest night." Your poetic words also give me great comfort, for God surrounds us.

Another great poem, Roy! I have been wondering how you write so many poems in so short a time - but I just noticed that this one is one you've written last year. That clears things up for me. Haha. This is a harmonious poem with great rhyme and rhythm, and a nice interpretation of the scripture you quote in the author's notes section. Nicely done!

From conception, he ensures we stay safe. From humans to animals. What a plan our Lord had. Perfection. He is the Master of our universe. He did not cut corners in his master plans. He gave us a brain to follow rules and regulations. Hands to work with to provide for our needs. The things we need are within reach. We have to make an effort. Thank you.
