I am up to this chapter, and I love your story! fast-paced and interesting, you are inserting different circumstances, while balancing the increasingly romantic involvement between Ali and Cordero. I liked the quote from the Texas legal Code.
Great insert with Ali helping Amy and the other ladies who were raped.
All the human situations you write came through as real.
Very good work and none of us will ever be perfect authors, but we keep trying, and that's what counts.

Texas is on the Mexican border. We have to have things in place. This checkpoint was here years before Biden became president and opened everything up. It's horrible now. Thank you for the kind review.

It's a nice piece of Romance Fiction in continuation having captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end.
Starting from Amy's brutal rape to its healing after effects plus the role played by Cord and Alexandria - the whole journey is very interesting and inspiring as well.
These lines are particularly noteworthy:
"Alexandra reached over and hugged Amy. "I want to set your life in the direction it was going before Pat Rogers destroyed it. It'll be hard, but you can do it. We'll help."
Entertaining as well as Educative!

I was spending some great time with my granddaughters ,hence i could not do any reviewing.I read the three chapters I missed at a stretch and I enjoyed the progress of the story.Ali is a compassionate soul and Cord is fully supportive of her. This was a nice chapter about Alexandra stepping up to help Amy. It all went so smoothly (I'm hoping some issues arise that serve as stumbling blocks for Amy). I'm also hoping that Alexandra and Crodero run into some stumbling block issues along the way. As a reader, I don't want the plot to run to smoothly without some real interpersonal conflict.
