How beautiful though a bit sad for the homeless man, as we may view these scenes with the thought of going home, an excellent Senryu, very well written and presented****kahpot

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and quite a sad statement of fact. Too many of us are homeless. It's often the forgotten sad reality in our country. Out of sight, out of mind I guess

Hi Gypsy, your poem is filled with vivid imagery. Sometimes, the poorest of the poor enjoy the gifts bestowed upon us by God more than the average man. Gorgeous artwork choice. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

Comment from Gloria ....
Very well done. The overall presentation is warm and inviting, and most everyone (so far) no matter how indigent can "afford" a front row seat to most glorious show of a sunset.
I enjoyed the gentle humour and warmth here very much.

I don't understand Haikus or senryus, I ought to find out because I really thought this one was fabulous. What an amazing view the homeless person, laying his mat down would have, looking up at that incredible view. Even I wouldn't mind looking at that. Well done, Gypsy. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Not enough can ever be said about a sunset. This is one of God's most cherished gifts to mankind. And it doesn't take being homeless to enjoy one. But a good viewing spot is a very good place for the homeless to locate themselves if need be.
Nicely worded.

Ciao poet!
It's priceless yet gratis for All ( including a homeless ) to see.
Sunset ( like sunrises) are emotional events. I get gloomy but those warm hues are beautiful.
It's one of God's many gift to us but lots don't bother to appreciate it.
I love to watch the sun go to sleep from the steps of our church which overlooks the town.
Take care .
Ciao!

Hi Gypsy Queen,
If not for that antenna getting in the way of that magic sunset in the image, then yes, priceless.
I guess when it comes to one of the things that makes my heart slow, my mind calm and the appreciation flow, I am really spoiled.
Where I live, we have some of the best sunsets on the entire East Coast of Oz. The bay in front of me, the river in front of that... surrounded by water. Most evenings, just before the sun goes down over the hills, I go out to the bench seat in front of my house, sip on my ginger tea and take in whatever colour/colours are going to grace my sight and senses. Not only do we have the sunset in the sky, but what it does to the change the appearance of the water is spectacular.
Do I love this? Throw in the the fact one doesn't need to have all the bells and whistles to hold the front seat of the best show in town. So that'd be a resounding-hard, yes!
You are a beautiful weaver of words Queen Gypsy. I love your mind at work.
With our thoughts we create...
the colour of contentment.
Kind regards,
James.
