I love this fun poem! I have a sock eater at my home and a drawer full of his left-overs. This poem rhymes so well and is very funny! One of my favorite couplet is "As silently as sleeping rocks, He lurks among a pile of socks." The end rhyme of bit and favorite slowed me down somewhat; it is my least favorite rhyme, by a bit.....

I think there is an international secret society of sock eaters. I am missing a black one with pink heels and toes - if you have a similar one, I could send mine to you, as it's no use to me on its own! Maybe we should just start a new fashion, and just wear any two socks. I love your fun, lighthearted and well-rhymed poem. Best wishes for the contest.

Lol! Enjoyed this poem about the well known mischief-maker the Single-sock eater who leaves the sock mate bereft! And us unable to use the socks unless you're like my grandkids who just purposely pick any two socks from their drawers. Best wishes in the contest!
