I love reading the writing of those who share my feelings about this great country. Living in Baltimore, where the National Anthem originated, I, too, get misty-eyed. I liked the artwork you chose; the poem is beautiful and well-written. Blessings!

dissolve as footprints on the shore.
and
dig your toes in righteousness
letting improprieties wash to sea.

A great devotional for those who will read and heed.
See you are older and I believe we have to attain some age before we stop and look around at the many gifts we have been given.
Our beautiful world was created for us, but we continue to destroy it.
Much of the population is lured away from faith by the new fads that offer instant gratification.
We maintain and increase our faith in attendance to our small, Bible teaching church and prayer.

If you have an increased attendance, you are the exception as attendance is down to 30 % from 50% ten years past.
