Must I admit I like your poem almost more than Wordsworth's? It is a superb reply and reads well, the rhymes work, and the meaning is heartfelt. I especially liked the second to the last stanza.
p.s. There is a format error in the copy of the Wordsworth poem (in dazed). I think you can fix this easily.

What is it about daffodils? I too wrote something of them, and it may or not be in my portfolio but as I recall it was a photo poem of a scene I took of them waving in the breeze. after a long winter, they and crocuses are the leaders to begin Spring's revival.

I love it Vera. You poem deserves to be on equal basis with his. I've always like Wordsworth though and it was nice to his poem again as well. The challenge is bringing a lot of talent from the FanStory poets.
