This is a poem that most of us can relate to. We see the setting sun as we near the end of our life here on earth. "My fellow travelers are gone " is a line I can relate to, many of my friends have passed on. Excellent poem that brings forth feelings and emotions.

Your journey has been long, and you've lived through some good, and terrible times. Seen more inventions that must have blown the mind back in those days. My father was born in 1926, he's been gone ten years now, and my mother, a year younger, joined him 7 years ago. I miss them both so much. You will be with your wife again, my friend, her spirit is waiting to help guide you home. When that day comes, you will be in Heaven, literally! But not quite yet. Your poetry is much loved and appreciated here on Fanstory. Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx
