I remember this feeling. Here's the advice my sister bestowed, and she was right on the money: "Men are like buses. If something should happen with one, you need only wait there ten minutes, and another will be right along to take his place."

My father's version was this: "As good as this relationship was, it's not The One, but if it were, it would have worked out. So then, just imagine how great The One is going to be!"

Keep the faith, Woman...and keep writing your beautiful poetry in the meantime. xo

It is hard to get over someone you loved. It takes years sometimes. If you lose them in death, you never get over them. It is terrible to love someone and they leave you. I enjoyed reading your poem. One day you will find someone. When you are lease expecting. Have a great day.
