Boy, can you write a story or what? The story or saga is completely engaging. You never slow down on the action. It just keeps building. Grand writing. Great pictures. No Need To Reply Karen

Geez, this story is a real heartbreaker. I had tears in my eyes when I finished reading this chapter. I can't imagine how it would be to lose a father and mother both at once. Nicely written.

Aww... thank you, prettybluebirds :) I appreciate your honest feedback and was hoping to get some heartfelt emotions from this chapter. It was hard for me to write, but I had to do it. I was a bit worried I might offend some readers, but so far, it is turning out good. The good news is... things will get better for the boys.

    Thanks again!
    Sincerely,
    Shana :)

What a heart wrenching story, yet charming at the same time. It is so true what mall things can bring joy to a child or child at heart. I was only five when my sis and i were put in an orphanage. Our parents weren't dead though. Loved your story. TG for kind people. Blessings, Barbara

I'm afraid I'm crying with them, I imagined my grandchildren losing their parents, but they would still be safe with us. Such a sad note for this story, but you've shown that they will be well taken care, with people lining up to adopt them, they will be better off with John and Sarah, this is beautifully written dear girl, blessings Roy
Suggestion : Went inside and (resigned) retired? Typo ; Jesus is His (son) too. Son? 2: God is a (father) to us all, Father?

Thank you, dear friend :) I'm so glad you could feel the emotion in this chapter. That's exactly what I was hoping for. This one was hard to write. I was afraid to add the religion in this, but I believe we all need this in our stories. I have come to realize as a writer, you can't always please everyone and I want to write what is true to my heart. I have had some readers tell me that I should leave out religion in my novels. I think this world needs it. And I will continue to express my faith in my novels. I know you approve, my friend.
And thank you for catching the typos. I will definitely fix them.

    I appreciate your support.
    Always your fan,
    Shana :)

It?s part and parcel of this world, I think there are supposedly 700 million Christians. Are they ashamed of their faith? Good on you Shana, Jesus is proud of you.

I know this is only a story, but my heart breaks for those little boys. You did an excellent job with this chapter and brought all the tear-jerking emotions into play. Have a wonderful afternoon/evening. Shirley

Thank you, Shirley :) My heart breaks too, and I'm the one writing this. But I promise, it gets better. Although Jace and Jem's life story is full of ups and downs, they also have a lot of good things in store for the future.
I appreciate your feedback and generous stars.

    Sincerely,
    Shana :)
