Yes, we griped and grumbled about the snow, then it turned hot as most of us can remember, and we griped and grumbled some more. Now, it won't be long before we have something new to grip and grumble about. LOL.

My son-in-law is both cleaning his pool and tuning up his snowblower.

It is very encouraging that each season ahs a distinct character and performs in certain predictable ways. That is except in Southern California. Los Angeles in particular. Here I have experienced 80 degree weather in February, followed on the very next day by a severe rain storm, followed the next day by low 60 degree weather. The weather here is purely schizophrenic.

It may be schizophrenic, and so is the weather.

This is one person anxiously waiting for winter's "smooth ways". I got my electric bill for the month yesterday. $1100! We've had 24 days of 100 + weather, twice reaching 110. I set the thermostat at 81 degrees and suffer through it. Come onnnnnnnnnnn, Winter!
How'd you manage to make this a 50 percenter, instead of 25? Hey, I'll take it!

Eleven Hundred dollars!?!?

Yep. Poor insulation, I guess. I'm trying to figure out how to tell my wife, who lives 30 miles away, in a cool, mountain mobile home. She pays the bills ... and tends toward emotion in her age. LOL, Pray for me!

That's been quite the weather ride - snow in April, drought in June and August must be making it easier for winter to just saunter on in. It's be weird here, too.

Weather forecasting has returned to reading tea leaves.
