I immediately felt that I was hoola hooping through your poem.
- A great poem, expanding outward and inward, unfortunately packing on pounds in the midriff section. Nothing a few more spins of the hoop cannot solve, I think...

This is a very clever way to espouse the benefits of exercise to keep the hips trim. It does help to have a waist when trying to manipulate a hula hoop. Nice job. Good luck in the contest. I appreciate seeing some humor.

You've written a funny loop poem about reducing the volume on your scale, not your radio. Like Chubby Checkers who twisted his way to a fitter and more slender form, you selected a piece of pop merch still available after... around 65 years of popularity. The last time I tried a Hula Hoop, I couldn't get the damn thing to go around. Maybe I'll buy one and try again, if I don't get dizzy. Anyway, Slender and Fit do a tagteam with Fat and Overfed - a match that lasts for too long.

I was struck by how this could be a poem for both children and adults - for different reasons. It looks like a child's poem at first glance, yet the message is definitely for those of us who are tempted by the sweets.
This is cute and clever and kudos for doing a loop poem (about a loop, no less!), as I find them difficult to write.
