Thanks Evelyn for your compliments on this contest entry. My typical poem is 5/7/5 syllable lines. I typically use FanArt for my illustrations that pair with my FS posts.

"Fiery Dragon" was well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and Flowed well with no Grammar issues.
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly.
Thanks for sharing this and good luck with your contest entry.

Ciao Marco!
Your poem speak of topics I cherish.
I love mythology and the names of Roman gods differ from those of Greece.
The god of fire was Vulcan and he lived and forged metals in the depths of Mount Etna, one of our most loved volcanoes. She is very active, fiery indeed!
I love the myth of dragons ( last December also I watched The Hobbit ). My favorite dragon film is Dragonheart ( 1996) .
That said:
Your poem is a melting pot of what I adore most.
And you put your creative twist to it.
Love the erotic take!
Your artwork choice is beautifully .

Great picture. Loved the visual of the burning ass. Good submission. Now to blah blah blah enough words to pass muster with the counter. Blessings, Barbara

Comment from Gypsy Blue Rose
the ancient Roman god of fire
Excellent entry for the 8 Words or Less Poem prompt contest.
Good words count and connection between lines with great presentation and imagery. It flows well with descriptive words that paint a clear mental picture of Vulcan God of fire.
Good luck in the contest.

Thanks Gypsy!
Even when I pen fewer syllables than my typical 5-7-5, you are supportive of my efforts.

Words and image fit together perfectly, Mark. I guess you needed that warning? I don't know, it's all in the eye of the beholder I suppose! Hot lava and volcano seemed like the perfect suggestion! This one's a committee decision, right? It's intriguing!

Thanks Karenina!
I always look forward to your reviews. Some may not find this post so risqué that a warning was necessary. I intended the innuendo! I really like the FanArt illustration that pairs with my few words.

Nice job! Not sure which came first the image or your poem - but they fit together like a glove. Excellent description especially with so few words. A creative take on the image.

Michael,
Thanks for your peek at my short style poem. I found the image after I penned the poem. I try to use FanArt for all my posts.
