If this is a literal poem about a real person, she sounds like an adventurous person who is kind to everyone. She seems to give hope and love to all. It is sometimes easier to understand others than yourself.
If is metaphorical, Day is morning which brings hope to all and gives them release from fear.

A nice tribute to those special people who make the world bearable for us. I liked the upbeat tone, nice job with the images of light and emotion to get us to see 'Day' as you do. It really speaks to the idea that it is the people around us that shape our experience of life. estory

Well Day sounds like a most wonderful friend, a muse, an inspirer, a force that makes you a better person, just by her presence.
There are some lovely lines in this tribute, and of particular note, where her feet touch the earth and she can dance freely among the flowers.
She is the sun in sunshine.

Yes, Gypsy, we are lucky to have each other. Day is special to me as she floats in and out of my life so freely. I haven't seen her for a while but she always returns in the end. Thanks for understanding.
