Bless you for the work of care and compassion you do as a hospice nurse! And I can imagine the patient and family all appreciate you. I'll have to engage with hospice care for my parents soon enough so I'm grateful for all the work of warmhearted nurses like you!

It's also up to the Hospice Nurses to comfort them. (hospice nurses) unless there was a reason to capitalize here and not elsewhere

What a wonderful heartwarming read, I can understand how a relationship would start as the Hospice Nurse is and becomes part of the family, it must take a special kind of person for this job/act of love, respect, and as you said empathy, very well written****kahpot
