This is what I feel about red birds. Cardinals.
And talking about butterflies, my youngest son was married on my
grandmother's date of birth and her death. She died on her birthday.
Butterflies seem to come around me. I felt it was my grandma.
It was August 6, and it was hot. In my mind, I wished for a cool breeze.
Next thing you know, a cool breeze came through. I revealed my wish to
the people standing around. The bride's dad looked at me and said,
"You just gave me the chills."
When I see red birds, I feel like it is my deceased husband. One day, my
daughter and I were going somewhere. Riding along in the passenger
seat, I made a comment,
"It has been sometime since I saw your daddy flying around."
Out from the many bushes on the passenger side, a red bird flew across
the car.

I love butterflies, your poem pays tribute to these wonderful creatures of God. Creator of all things on earth. My favorite is the monarch butterfly. Together your presentation gets a thumbs up.

Why not a butterfly? As I wrote recently, I lost a dear one and I feel its presence continuously. Sorry for the loss but hope is they have found consolable peace

This is very nice, and the form is spot on. If seeing the butterfly, which is both a delicate creature and a symbol of the changes in life brings them solace than that is a good thing. Perhaps, that is one of there purposes.

This is lovely in presentation and in thought. What if butterflies were really angels? The imagination is sparked by this poem. Everything is lovely and prize-worthy here, to me. Just a suggestion...I think the black background is a little heavy for an angel poem, and a lighter color may cheer it up a bit, but that's just an idea. This poem definitely has beauty in the words.
