Whew, tough one to rate, particularly for a true Trumpster. However, I review and rate only on presentation, not on content. Opinions and views are personal to each one of us and I have to respect yours as I hope you will respect mine when I say, "if only Trump had not been cheated out of his 2nd term, where would we be now." $2 gas, low inflation, energy independent, strong military, baby formula available, respect throughout the world, criminals actually punished for their crimes, clean street even in San Francisco, and on and on.

2nd Para, 11th sentence: CONSIDER (beneficiaries) instead of (benefiters) benefiters is not wrong I just believe beneficiaries reads better.
2nd Para, 13th sentence: CONSIDER (not have) instead (have not) readability.

But opinions are just that, we all have one. The article itself is written very well. I found no errors only a couple of very slight suggestions. So, good job.

Okay, Gary, I guess we have to agree to disagree on what could have been. I appreciate your willingness to look at the piece as a reviewer and not as one who does not agree with the content, which some reviewers, I believe may have done. Appreciate your honesty and your suggestions.

Your piece is rational, expressed very well, and I couldn't agree more. As a resident of New Zealand obviously I have not experienced life in America, but as an informed, politically aware, sensible, respectful person I can totally understand why Trump has been a disaster for America and his continued presence will feed the climate of discontent that he caused.

You've got a letter missing in 'certitude':
With ceritude I declare

Made the correction. Thanks for the catch. Also, for the encouraging review. I am ashamed of what is going on in my country.

Whew! You are indeed a brave one to step smack dab in this hornet 's nest. I agree wholeheartedly with your essay, and if no one else votes for you, I will. There is blood on Trump's hands, but I don't think he cares. The only suggestion I can offer is to increase the font a bit more. I have pop bottle glasses to see through. Well-done and you will get my vote.

Thanks for you read and your feedback. I know some will not vote for this work because they still want to believe Trump's lies. But it does help one to vent. I will make the print larger.

It's hard for me to understand how they could not see from the beginning he was vile and a conman. Amen, venting is good.

Yet, many still are backing this evil man. Says something about them don't you think?

Yes, it says they are like him or are terribly gullible.

I have an external perspective, as I'm from the UK (and we can't shout too much about dodgy leaders, it seems). It has to be said, though, it was quite astonishing when Trump became president. I'm not shocked he got elected - it seemed to be based on the same anti-politics and fear of losing voice that drove some of our own more extreme decisions (such as Brexit - big, but not surprising if one actually listens to the real public rather than the media). What shocked me was that he became the Republican party's candidate in the first place - it's like a circus replacing their ringmaster with a monkey...

Dear Mike, I could not have said it better myself. It is so sad what our country has become. We are no longer the United States, rather we are the divided states. Thanks for the read and feedback. Just read an article that intimated that Trump and Boris Johnson are two of a kind.
Martin Fletcher wrote, "The Prime Minister and the US president are both unprincipled demagogues who have subverted democratic norms." See Martin Fletcher at https://www.newstatesman.com/

Hello fellow writer. Thank you for sharing your poem, I think you executed well within the rules of the writing prompt, if we only had a time machine. I can't imagine things could be worse than Trump Good job and good luck in the contest.
