Hi Helen,
I liked your title, "A Minute of Prayer", seeing that this is a minute poem. It's good of you to let us know the writers among us with physical needs. Every single prayer counts. One thing I've learned over the years, when we pray... we must pray BELIEVING that the Lord will answer our prayers.
I knew about Debi's surgery, and I also knew that Wendy G is dealing with winter flooding in her area of Australia. Now I know about the rest. Thanks for that.

I like the minute style, but it's difficult to get it to flow smoothly.
However, yours was great in that respect. Your author notes
added another layer of info. You are great to keep FS members
informed about issues others are dealing with.

I especially like the last verse. "Wherever two or more are gathered I am there." One candle bets another candle to light the world. At some concerts on you tube, theynhave the fans light their phones. Whoa. It really show the metaphor of prayer.

What a beautiful prayer for Fan Story folks. Covid is still around and Monkeypox is starting to spread. I got one Covid booster shot and am holding off until the fall to see what they recommend we take, along with the flu shot.
I stopped wearing a mask and feel hopeful I'm healthy enough, even though I'm 72, to not catch anything.
I'm thinking about your last posting about God and having faith. I'm reminded of the old joke about the guy drowning and praying to God to save him. The punch line went something like, "I sent you three boats, didn't I?" LOL! Now I'm wondering if God is telling me to get my 4th shot and start wearing a mask again. Blessings, Lilly

Thank you for the review, Lilly! We are extra cautious because of my husband's compromised immune system. So we still wear masks in church and just got our second booster. We're going to see my parents who are in their 90s and we don't want to bring anything to them via the airplane. Sigh. What a time this has been! Hugs!

You're brave for even planning a plane trip. If you can, just bring carry on bags.

Thank you, Santha! It's not that I try but sometimes I learn from their posts like Sandra's. But sometimes, they write me. I can't keep it all straight so I ask the Holy Spirit to remind me for whom to pray and when. Hugs!!
