What a delightful poem, so easy to read in your well written rhymed quatrain verses...In so many ways, you
show how much a child is loved, and how much that child loves her Dad..I really liked how you included so many other beings, and yet in the end, the child does love their dad the best. The story brought out the old teacher in me...I know children would love reading your poem...Good luck in the Contest.
Thanks for sharing...Blessings,
Warmly,
Victoria

A beautiful written kids 'poem with a good message. The font size needs to be larger to make it more prominent and easier to read. I would also make the font colorful. This is a poem for kids. Vibrant colors make it more attractive to kids. The background a color other than gray would be good too. The visual is okay. It fits the text. The poem is great, but the presentation could be better. Good luck in the contest.

I don't know who you are, where you come from, or what you look like; but I know an Awesome poem when I read it. I loved the comparison to the animals and the deep affectionate love between child and daddy and it almost brought me to tears. So hooray for you, as I think I have made my choice but in fairness I must read them all. I just don't know how it can get any better than this! Great job!

This was a beautiful entry for the Children's Rhyming Poem writing prompt contest. The rhyme doesn't seem forced. I'll have to read it to my grandson.
The picture of the presentation are a delight.
I loved your poem's story of about the little girl's love for her dad...aw...so cute.
Well done. Goodluck in the contest.

This poem fits the contest well. Its rhyming couplets show the different fathers in nature and shows the characteristics of the best dads.
Good luck in the contest.

What dad wouldn't melt if he had a little girl, his daughter, recite this poem to him. I loved the many different comparisons between animal and dad. The child always had a good comeback to support her "Daddy."
Really nice.

Thanks, Gary, for a great review. And special thanks for the six!

I very rarely award six-stars for poetry. But this one was exceptional, and it hit a soft spot. Very nice.

I really appreciate the review and the stars!

I LOVE this!! I can just imagine a child sitting on either parent's lap and listening to these delightful rhymes that comprise the kind of story that he or she would find easy to understand and be able to draw parallels about in his own life. This would make for just THE most adorable children's book. I bet it's going to do SO well in the contest!! Good luck.

This is a sweet poem about a child loving her dad. And her dad tells her he loves her. My dad did not show love. My dad was distant. He told me he loved me once, and that was in 1979. Thank you for sharing. When I would go to Alabama from Michgan, he would be in bed. Or get up for a few minutes and go back to bed. He died in 1992. And I forgave him for the things he said to me and the way he treated me on his dead bed.

A beautiful poem! you've written it well informing about the roles of all the animal daddies, but also affirming that the child's father's actions are always the best. Best wishes for your entry.
