First 6 stars I have given so far! I voted for you and believe that this is a perfect 50 word flash fiction story. Not a word is out of place. And the surprise at the end truly caught me off guard and delighted my soul! Excellent job!

I love this. It's so very original. I never saw what was coming. The last sentence made me laugh. I didn't expect your main character to be that Jack.

Ohhhh! You got me but good with this one!! EXCELLENT Flash Fiction "mislead" going on here, Mystery Writer. Like the planes in Jack's airspace, I never saw that coming!

Hi there,

I liked this piece. It's always a nice treat when something so familiar as on old tale is mucked around with. Especially when done well and differently.

Got a nice laugh out of this.

Nicely thought out, and well presented within the confines of the fifty words. The piece flows with a good beginning, middle and end. All the best in the contest.
