I love the imagery and the message. The bits comparing writing and inspiration to music was a nice contrast to the serious undertones of how looking for a muse or a side hustle as many may read into it, and stress can lead to burn out. It could use some work on flow, but other than that a nice piece of writing.

I can relate to much of what you are saying here. "Don't reveal I'm crazy as a loon" is my favorite line. It gives me freedom to write anything my muse has come up with. Excellent poem for the poet.

We all struggle to find and follow our muse from time to time. I go through my photographs, borrow from friends' stories, watch Netflix . . . Never know when it will return, but it always does.
A nice rhymed poem that speaks to all who are creative. Looks like you found it in time to write this:-)

Writers often use 'muse' as a theme to their work, but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the original way you did it. I hope your muse appreciated the massage, haha. And don't spend too much money shopping. I have a feeling she'll be visiting you often. Regards, Lilly

Hi Jesse,
This poem tells us that if you have to search for your muse you may be working to hard. Let nature, or whatever, inspire you to write what you feel and see.

Well, Joan, I was inspired to write this poem. Was I trying too hard?
I get my inspiration from many things including nature and my muse is inside of me telling me what to write.
I shall keep on writing and staying healthy,

No you weren't, if you let your muse find you. Sometimes ideas just come to my on walks or even sitting in church. I do wait to write until I get home or some place easier to write.
