Actually, I didn't know most of what is in your verse. I love rainbows but I have always accepted them as something beautiful God has given us as a covenant. I am dismayed at how a rainbow is being portrayed today but I still claim them as my God's promise.

And I as well, that earth shall never be covered completely in water again, but I fear what the next repercussion will be for we haven't as yet consider obeying the laws written in stone.

Believe it or not, I speak the truth, when the wife and I gave chase to find its end, riding on a country road, and we queried it seems to be getting close when in a flash it ran across the hod of our pickup and got gone.

I have been suspected of being an olio; a stew, a mix of this and that. Sometimes I am tender and tasty, at others chewy and grisly. Even I am bewildered as what rolls from the iters of my mind. This morning I awoke to a saying of Stan Laurel: "I forgot what I came to forget." There a piece of writing somewhere in there.

Your 'drops of knowledge' have been refracted on the way to form a rainbow, always a nice sight to see. Knowledge explains things scientifically, but I prefer to think of them as magic indicators of pots of gold.

Leave it to the Irish to begin a myth: where it was said that "fairies put a pot of gold coins at the end of each rainbow with leprechauns guarding it." But we love them all the same... the Irish not the little men in green!

This was supposed to be an entry for SHORT and COLORFUL. I felt I released it there but it doesn't show up. Wrote to CONTACT HQ, I guess. No response yet. I have saved and see it listed on Page 3 #86 but again the contest does not show it. Any suggestions?
