I love this poem about Ritchie Valens a very talented artist whose life was cut way too short. Good luck in the contest. You have adhered to the strict guidelines. I find these poems hard to write.

This accident has been referred to as 'the day the music died' in Don McLean's 'American Pie'... but music lives on in Rock and Roll Heaven as written in your homage poem.

fellow musicians rockin' n rollin'. I enjoyed reading your contest
