This is a wonderfully written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme. one things we should keep in mind. I love your choice of words.
The wonders God gave us, beauty defined.
The fall of the water from way up high,
Spray from the water as it passes by.
The rise of the sun from a mountain top.
Dew from a flower, ready to drop. Beautiful photo to compliment your words as well.

Well, this is just beautiful. Sometimes we all need to stop and notice those things we so take for granted but are among the true miracles of our universe. Thank you for posting this, and while I'm here, I'm looking up hummingbird, because I'm thinking it's one word.

The smell of the rain in a downpour.
The difference of each snowflake as they fall,
Sad sound of the whippoorwill's mating call...I love the 'texture' of the sound, sights, smells, the very 'whole' body experience of this wonderful poem...this is so good, I enjoyed reading it immensely Well Done! Kind regards Meia xx

The sights and sounds you conjure are lovely, but so, too, is your appreciation of them. It's hard to be sad when seeing and hearing all the beauty around us. Thank you for reminding us that it's God who provided them, and to whom we should be grateful.

This is well composed and presented.
Your phraseology is excellent, words flowing smoothly like jazz music in a smokey bar.
The rhymes create a tempo that is just right without being forced.
Your sensory details added texture and layers, I could see the eagles wings overhead.

This is an excellent poem about the beauty of nature
expressed in rhyming couplets.
Nature can be uplifting, soothing, inspiring.
It can also be thunderous and overwhelming at times.
Excellent choice of art work to match words.
