I guess this is a picture of your miracle baby. She looks lovely and adorable.

You describe her to be a kind hearted person. She is so lovely that she goes through thick and thin with her friends and relatives.

She is lucky to inherit the best parts of her parents.

I admire you having a miracle baby.

This is a wonderful contest entry that I am sure will do well.
Your use of metre and tempo work well here giving this a wavy ribbon feeling to me. Perhaps I imagined her with ribbons in her hair, either way such an enjoyable poem:)
The rhymes flow easily and your use of similes were engaging. Thanks for sharing.

Debi, this is a winner if for no other reason than your daughter gets to read it. You don't need a wish of luck for the contest you know how win. Excellent work! Terry

Awe, as the guy who can always make the sun shine a little brighter, what would I do without you. I love when I see your name on a review because I know that I will get good feedback or a good luck, but always a pleasure to read..Thank you my dear friend!.............
Thursday is the day for my leg reconstruct (putting some kind of rods or something to strengthen and straighten) and knee replacement surgery, so I wouldn't mind a few prayers mixed in there too. After the next one in Sept they are hopeful that I may walk again by Christmas. It has been way too long so I am very excited.

This is a terrific poem to remind Michelle, as well as inform all of us, that she was born when no child could be, and has graced the world for forty-seven years.

Thanks Bill, Lol, and also that I had her at 19 yrs old. Hehe, Seriously tho, God just didn't buy what the top doctors said, and blessed me w three children. Which astonished them at even our Mayo Clinic because they said that w only 1/4 of an ovary left, it was slim to none. Nothing is impossible when you pray hard enough. Thanks my awesome friend for your kind as always review and words.

Debi, What a beautiful picture of a beautiful little girl to go with your work. She has your smile even at that young age I believe. You used great descriptive and loving words. Thank you for sharing this with us. love and blessings, Tei

Oh my Teri, thank you so very much for this amazingly kind review, words and gracious six stars. I hesitated using any of my older poetry, but have always been so in awe of God for not just her, but the other 2 children He blessed us with. Even the drs at the Mayo Clinic were shocked that I could conceive with less than 1/4 of any ovary back then. I guess prayer really is stronger than the slim to none odds. I still tear up thinking of how blessed I am. Thank you again my beautiful and dear friend!

Debi,
I love the photo.
Your poem opines on all the wonders of your daughter--how you had her despite a doctor telling you you wouldn't have children.
I like your rhyme in expressing the pride and joys of having your daughter.
Blessings,
Cindy
Good luck!

What a lovely tribute for your lovely daughter, and what a beautiful little girl she was. Isn't it wonderful when the high points of our children's lives are also the high points of ours? I'm glad you and your husband were blessed to have her!

I am also a miracle baby and you hit every emotion a parent feels from the time they are born. This piece is moving and a joy to read. I hope it reminds people that anything is possible even if they are told differently. Thanks for sharing!

A beautiful poem about a miracle baby, a special gift, and how she has grown through the years. She sounds like a fantastic young woman. Best of luck in the contest. Evi

Oh Evi, you are so sweet. You put a smile on my face that made my husband what I was up to. Honest! He asked why I was extra joyful and I told him that I just had the loveliest six star review from a friend, but he just kind of laughed at me and said that's nice. Men? Haha! .So I thank you so very much my friend for your kind words and the most generous six stars! It truly means so much to me!

This is one of the sweetest poems about one's child that I ever read and the picture is just darling. When I read this, I felt like you were talking to us, only using rhyme and rhythm. Well done. Regards, Lilly

That is so sweet of you Lily! It was so long ago, but I needed a poem for a contest but I think I must have packed my muse in my suitcase to go to the hospital already as I just couldn't think. So I grabbed that one and appreciate the wonderful reviews like yours and others so much. You are such a lovely friend. Thank you so much!
