Thank you for sharing this with us. I have neglected my genealogy again. I got back to it a few weeks ago and then my son ended up in the hospital and required surgery. Nothing serious, but still. I am now home, until the next crisis. LOL Maybe I can get started this week, again.

Oh, I like that quote from the headstone! It reads almost like a blessing. Enjoyed learning about your Scottish heritage and I hope you look up the McLendon pattern. If it's the same as the MacLennan, I guess it would be:

I enjoyed this section about relatives hailing from places much closer to me than you are :-). You just need some Welsh and English ancestors, and you'll represent the whole of the UK! You do a great job of maintaining clarity, even when you're detailing complex family branches. I really enjoyed the read.
