Loved your meditation on Heaven. My favorite lines were:
"I never will have need again for sun
Nor even lamp, for Jesus is the light,"
That alludes to the promises in Revelation 21!
Best wishes in the contest!

Hello. What a lovely verse that is calming and full of assurance. The artwork sets the stage for your flowing metered verse. Well done on this masterpiece. Good luck.

I can't think of anything more uplifting than being with Jesus, and being under His righteous rule of love and grace, with all nature restored and in harmony. I sense your joy and enthusiasm, and I share it. Best wishes for your entry.

I certainly agree with your thoughts. That being said, a great testimony, and now what might your thoughts be if there is life after death about life before birth?

Thanks for your excellent review. As to your questions- my faith is based on the Bible that says God is the creator, and He created all life from the beginning and with free will to choose life with Him now and forever, while Satan is the destroyer of life, now and forever.

Exactly. I am with you knowing we will live hereafter but how was life before birth? Jer 1:5

An indication is given that after death of our bodies, Christian's souls go to be with God. Then at Jesus second coming, bodies will rise to be replaced with new bodies. As for before life, God is not in our time and space continuum. He is omniscient beyond our understanding. (I'm not conversant with all prophecy-I just know I want to be with Him always in whatever form He chooses.)

I enjoyed reading your poem. It was uplifting and met all requirements outlined. It is easy to see that you take joy in thinking of eternity and wish to share this joy with others. It is encouraging in these trying times. The flow of the poem could have been improved but I think overall you did well

This poem was truly uplifting. It was a great description of what comes when life on earth is over. I hope to experience it someday. Thank you for sharing this, and best wishes to you.

This is a lovely piece about the anticipated afterlife and the hope of sharing it with others. You use some effective imagery to express your excitement and joy in the face of fulfilling purpose.

Well done with this pentametric poem, with a varying aba rhyme pattern, skilfully woven in. But it's the storyline I really like with its scriptural promise of joy forevermore's ruling theme, hallelujah, well done, blessings Roy
