I loved this poem for its messaging, metaphors and allegory.
Sparkling in this poem was use of voice and original thought.This is not an incredulous backpat, rather it is an honest recognition of your writing talent and strengths.
My observation on areas for potential development, if you so choose, is : comparison and contrast, and consistency, also some imagery here could only enhance. Could time, for example be the heartbeat in your piece. In the same vein as time is a beast and a gentle lover, would you consider what time might be when it is long or short or when she is easily insulted.
Most sparkling lines is when you compare time to a disloyal deserter, I noticed: Then she will abandon you, left standing alone to explain your choices to her older brother, Eternity. I love the way time is portrayed here as steadfast and a long distance runner. A very endearing poem. All the best.

I'm not sure if I would call this "uplifting," but I did like it. It kind of reminded me of Neil Gaiman's Endless. I enjoyed the personification of Time and Eternity. Thank you for sharing.

Really enjoyed this, it was uplifting and that's what they asked. It does cheer, soothe and inspire. Cannot ask for anymore than that as it also flows well and the picture works well.
