Wonderful and - forgive me - hard hitting. I'm glad i relate to the grasshopper and not the child! I believe i may be in a similar situation myself, so i'm going to take this as sound advice to keep checking my box for the lid being off.

I enjoyed your fable because your moral is so on point. It was a well-told and developed fable. I only wished the font was a tad larger. There are many senior writers on this site. Making the font larger will increase the possibility they will engage with your text. This is a modern-day fable worthy of being read by many. Well-done!

I thought this was very well written and an excellent central concept. For me, I'd have preferred a little less explanation towards the end, since I thought the meaning was well shown (and also I like a little room for interpretation) but that's not a criticism - just my personal preference. Very nicely done indeed.
