This is very hopeful for the reader, especially ones who have lost hope. The metaphors in this poem are strong and will draw the reader in. I like playing with words & concepts. Take the 1st & last words...living light.

Extensions of God, His shine in
a dark corner, a blessed relief
to those who are lost.
This is so pretty!!
Love the haiku form for this.

That's a great spiritual haiku, Joan! It matches the picture perfectly! Knowing that God is in control give us great peace and all things are possible with Him. He also asked us to be light because He is the Light.

"Living in God's hands
The universe can be yours
And you the world's light"
This is a great haiku. Jesus said that we are the light of the world, when e reigns supreme in our hearts, He shines out for others to see.
