You used a nice big word which is always a challenge in these short poems. Well done. You also managed to give the twister a personality; its the one craving destruction - and i think this is wonderfully evocative!

I do not like the looks of that storm even in a picture. I am terrified of storms. I hate to hear thunder or see lightening. It is so dangerous. It would not take much to be killed in a thunder storm. Thank you for the awareness.
