I totally agree! I had to go this far to find a post I hadn't reviewed yet.
It's frustrating when the evil one lures people to justify evil deeds and claim it's for their religion! There is no way that idolizing Trump can be called "Christian."

You and I are in total agreement. Sadly, the Trump supporters only need a semblance of something they support, to be taken all the way in. Their dismay at being misled will appear to be sincere, but you must not be fooled. They know what they are doing. They really do not care. As long as they can have for the moment what they desire.

This is an excellent consternation poem. A warning to people that there are charlatans in the religious field--and you expose their hypocrisy well.
I believe there are profoundly good Christian people that truly do practice 'loving thy neighbor, but we have to look for them carefully.
I believe God is apolitical. We need to get back to the basics.

This is an excellent consternation poem. A warning to people that there are charlatans in the religious field--and you expose their hypocrisy well.
I believe there are profoundly good Christian people that truly do practice 'loving thy neighbor, but we have to look for them carefully.
I believe God is apolitical. We need to get back to the basics.

Thank you so much for your supportive comments. I know that there will be some Christians who will feel the need to defend their beliefs. I love and believe in God as much or maybe even more than the next guy. That is why I am offended by those who cause a hatred for true religion, and those who practice true religion.

This is worth a six for your powerful denunciation of hypocrisy and false leadership, false religion and corruption. Alas, I have none left. Your message is clear. Many churches have wandered far from Scriptural truth in their efforts to gain adherents ( and money), and the leaders are deceptive about the one way of salvation. I do not understand how those fake preachers on television are getting away with robbery. It is amazing to watch and hear them talk. They are asking for large amounts of money. They are telling people to charge the money to their credit cards. And like you say, I am fed up with corruption and false religion. All the money they get from people to build houses with gold plated faucets and brag about the type of cars they drive. We have homeless people everywhere. Thank you for sharing your great awareness post.
