The first two lines of this poem flow and connect well. The last line
says it all! I was told once when you find a penny on the ground it is
an angel - pick it up! I like the author's words - they are so true. The
artwork is awesome and compliments these words.

Thank you for the review and comments. I was told it was good luck to find a penny. With ongoing inflation, more people may start to believe that.

If you did not mention these weren't Pennie's I doubt many would have noticed. Not too distant in the future they'll be used for electrical conduits only.

Those pennies should be obsolete. Prices should be even prices. They build up, and for myself I do not bother with them. I like the picture you chose. It goes great with the poem. Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend.

Yes I don't know why countries still mint pennies, it's been a long time since my country actually minted them, they are virtually worthless now, this is a great poetic.observation, well done, blessings Roy

My Nan always said 'take care of the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves' - it's sad to think we've got to a point where some things are not worth the effort even to pick them up when dropped. I loved the flow of your short piece - very effective.
