This is a good poem. i like what the text stated. It would be enhanced if you made the font larger for easy reading, and if you added some color to the poem. The presentation would be enhanced with a colored background and a visual of some sort.

What an excellent post. You've done well, I love the tongue in cheek humour, it's most refreshing, and gives it that air of flippancy that is gratifying to read, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

This is a great little poem. The images of daisies in a sunburnt field and plucking petals to find our if you are loved are quite delightful. Best of luck in the love poem contest.

You managed to draw a clear picture of the game of love through the eyes of a daisy: "When summer comes, what is revealed
Are daisies in a sunburnt field.
Tis then I'll find what is my lot.
He loves me, or he loves me not.?" Love the rhyming:) Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest and with your writings.

Thanks, Iza. With the luck that some people have, they would probably do as well by using this method.

Your poem read well, Mystery Author. I like the end rhyme used
and the phrase he love me, he loves me not. I would like to see
this extended.
Best wishes in the contest, Jan

Thanks, Jan. Maybe I will add to this a little later.

I extended the poem as you requested.
Petal Power
I met a man the other day
Who almost took my breath away.
His ways are suave and debonair ?
An answer to my every prayer.
I wonder if he is the one,
Or will it just be hit and run?
I must be wary and decide
If I?m to be his blushing bride.
So now I know I must pursue
A method that is tried and true.
I?ll pick a daisy in my field,
And there my fate will be revealed.
Tis then I?ll find what is my lot:
He loves me or he loves me not.
