What a lovely wee poem -- flawless rhyme and meter, and beautiful imagery that is evoked -- the sentiment is so romantic! Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks for the review, Dawn. This poem didn't do well in the contest. I think it was too short.

Good old daisies. They will tell you the truth every time, or so we hope. I thought the flower was a dandelion, but daisies work just as well.

Fun little ditty.

This is a simple poem with an easy rhyme and rhythm, just like a happy little daisy waiting in the sunburnt field to reveal one of life's great mysteries - "He loves me or he loves me not." Hope the answer is positive for you.

This poem, The Love Flower, presented in iambic tetrameter, takes the road of simplicity to address this issue of loves fickleness.

I thoroughly enjoyed your poem. It wasn't long, but it didn't have to be. It got its point across in a few lines. I like that the daisies will reveal "he loves me or he loves me not." Thanks for sharing.

Well done on this short poem for the contest. Brings back memories of childhood, when we would pick the daisies and pull off the petals one by one, just for fun.

Thanks, Anne. Many a daisy has been sacrificed to tell the future.

This is a clever and creative little poem that has a fantasy feel to it. I like the image of the daisies in the sunburnt field. This is also a fun poem to read out loud.

Daises were the perfect flower to say she does or not. No need for further details. You accepted the challenge and dotted your i's while crossing your t's nice job.
