Deniz,

You have done an excellent job in explaining how scripture is not contradictory if it is understood in the proper context. Thanks for the read.

Sue

Praise the Lord for His great mercy, that He would come Himself in the form of frail flesh to receive death in that flesh, and the ransomed payment for the manifold sins of man, (even mine), thank you Dennis for being faithful and posting this. To God be the glory. Bless you brother, may the Lord anoint this word. Beautifully written Dennis, blessings Roy

A good exposition & explanation of the seeming contradiction about Adam's death & continued life. You've included many good Scripture verses. Your follow-up support of salvation through Jesus could be a post of its own. Blessings. Carol

This is interesting. I won't debate whether you actually answered your original question or not, but if you believe it, then it is answered.

notes:

It becomes very clear [to me or to some] in the Bible Adam was representing all humanity when he knowingly sinned and ate of the forbidden fruit.

- I think you add this clause. Just to keep things honest.

Thank you for reviewing and I was remiss in not giving the scriptural reference to Adam representing the whole human race when he ate the forbidden fruit. I hope this clarifies the point:
    1 Corinthians 15:45-49
And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man."
    Thanks again, Dennis
