Wow! This is a potent letter to God outlining most of the current ills of the world. You're not the only one wondering what God's plan is, and when it will be revealed. Even though this is a letter for a contest, God knows your heart and hears your inquiry. I wish you the best in the contest.

You are right In saying, " Every day our earthly news is rife with stories about pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth."
The world isn't at peace, these deadly sins do not create a good picture that our government can solve. We need God's help.

This is fine for some, but as for me, I will continue to address God through the airmail system of closing my eyes in reverence and lifting up my supplication to God in silent prayer, I hear that he hears very well the prayers of those who earnestly seek to address him, no postage needed.

I really liked your structuring your prayer with the "seven deadly sins" to detail what is happening in the world today. I haven't heard to connection to the book of Proverbs before and so I'll look that up.
I also like the honest "half full cup of faith" which echoes at the end where you humorously ask God for His address. In the end, we will know He has got this and it will someday make sense in Heaven.

I am convinced He hears, and he cares because He knows all, but since He gave man freewill, too many people are determined to worship their own god and forget the One who created them and the world with all that's in it. I hope this will do well in the contest, but beyond that, I hope many will read it and take heed.

This letter to God reads so well. It is worded clearly and shows excellent use of language, makes perfect sense and is logically presented. I felt the anguish and disappointment of the author and can certainly relate strongly to the sentiments expressed. I only found a couple of places I thought needed attention:
***It is not only the carnal garage (garbage?) heap of pornographic material ...
***Will I put this letter in a stamped envelope and mailed (mail it?) off to you? Well, God, you know where. (I didn't understand this line)
A most enjoyable piece, and I'm sure it will do well in this contest. MM
