Whew, I got tired just trying to follow Ohmie! I can't imagine being his mother. lol Thanks for another fun chapter, Wayne.

Just a couple of little spags:
"Ohmie though(thought) for the briefest moment.."
"Before Ohmie could find the dirty Spiderman shirt(,) she'd convinced him to wear the red one(,) since Spiderman was mostly red,..."

Wayne,

Here, let me take that little boy. I raised one just like him. *smile*

One Halloween, we walked up to this house - it actually belonged to some friends of ours. The lady knew us and called out a greeting. She said, 'Hello there, Tanner!" My son was flabbergasted. "How does she know my name?" he asked me.

I sighed. I said, "Son, anyone who's been in Walmart for us for ten minutes knows who you are." hahaha!

Thanks!

We all know an Ohmie, often one in our own family.

The story flows well. The words fit the situation. The images are strong. The piece stays on point. The end is almost a given.

Thanks for a good read.

Thank you. Yes, the ending should have been something more of a surprise.

Ha, ha, ha this little trouble maker the scare of the babysitters:) preschool will be in shambles:) "
Little Ohmie tucked in for the night, May announced that she was ready to find a pre-school for Ohmie. "That, or we get a sitter and I go back to work," May stated, no uncertainty in her tone.

Both May and Ohmie Senior flashed back to their two singular efforts with babysitters, learning that the word had gotten out, and that no one would watch him unless he was already asleep before they arrived.

"I'll find a pre-school," Ohmie said.
" Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Thank you. But don't be too hard on him. Ohmie saves the world a few times over.

I had a blast learning about little Ohmie's strategies for dealing with crime and punishment - I particularly liked the section about getting unwanted foodstuffs off his plate without being too obvious.

I love Ohmie's logic as he rationalises everything, but still makes the same errors kids do. This was great fun :-)
