Nicely written bit of nostalgia-longing for the good old day. The problem with paper and pen when I went back to edit what I'd written, half the time I couldn't read my writing. Those darn ball point don't last as long as they once did. Even without the Cognac, I sometimes find myself falling asleap over the keypad.

The only thing I could not empathise with here was the nostalgia around paper and pen. Being left handed was the problem. It stopped me being a great writer because pushing that crossed nib across the paper was agony and smearing ink across the page with the heel of one's hand pruduced messy results.

If the word processor had d been invented in 1950, by the 1960s I would have been a prodigy. But it wasn't and I'm not. So I gave up and drunk the brandy. It didn't mind in which hand I held the glass.
