I found the head-hopping between the two characters a little distracting, because it meant I was told everything rather than figuring it out for myself. That said, it's a very well written piece other than that. Even without a faith-based angle, it's a story as old as time - the struggle between writing what's true to one's self, and what's more likely to sell to a broader audience.
A strong theme, and a solid entry.

Oh my, Thank you for sharing this post. It sounds like nonfiction. This is an amazing story. And there is so much truth in the story. Years ago I was told to label one of my stories fiction, however I refused. The truth is the truth, no matter what the story is about. Thank you.
