What a wonderful picture of the waves of the sea and a great tanka, Gypsy. I sadly liked your words because they showed that the sea/ocean does not have any mercy. Blessed be n hugs.

I like your poem- good presentation picture- certainly not a good day to be the bridge lookout on port wing- eyes swell close from salt water waves in no time- like poor character in your poem suffering her huge loss- powerful adjectives- good job

A strong poem. These words speak volumes. Loneliness is like being in the middle of a raging storm, and the comparison to a lone ship at sea is appropriate.

I love your use of forceful words in this brief poem. In fact, after reading the Bjork contest entries, I feel like this one would have been a great entry for that contest. I have know idea who Bjork is but this poem shows the impact of a turbulent farewell.

Bjork was a popular singer in the 80s... known for being really weird...unique lady. Her lyrics were just as weird and unique as her. LoL I red the entries for that contest, there were some interesting poems.
