Love every word you wrote. God's love for us surrounds me. I have pine forests and chestnut woods , a gurgling stream and from a far in the distance I see the Alps.
Our mount bustles with life majestic stags, deer , boar and birds galore..
All these beautiful gifts are the topics in my poems. I love to describe the warm sunset hues and the morning dew drops that glisten like gems.
God's loving hand is everywhere on my mount and I just love to share and delight others with it and hopefully inspire them like you said in your last verse.
Maybe to get up and for once catch sunrise and then share the wondrous experience in a poem.
There are so many people ( like my ex boss who lives opposite to me) that lives such a toxic life. Too lazy to get up to see all the beautiful , all gratis ..instead she gets up late in the morning and first thing lights a cigarette. No comment.
Sorry for the rant.

Your ode was indeed full of that merry Christmas vibe but i don?t enjoy Christmas, I don?t buy or receive gifts.
It?s also not a happy time for me .
Christmas is just not a theme that draws me in. ( sigh)

Some may say God doesn't hear us, he doesn't even know us, or he isn't even there. But, we know different don't we.
One observation
9th sentence: remove one of the words "my"
I feel God directing my thoughts and hands all the time. I know he is there guiding me. I'm glad you know it too.

I think the most telling line in your poem for me is 'I'm thankful for the gift to write' - I feel that, because I don't know what I'd do without the ability to release the energies through poetry! I very much enjoyed the read :-)
