This is beautiful, Wendy, and you have put a lots of thought and work into this. Rhyming is good, use of colours and pictures enhance your work. Great way to describe the seasons of our lives.

I can see this contest entry as an introduction to the season for my used to be first graders. I guess one never quits thinking as a teacher. LOL Thank you for sharing and good luck.

What a beautiful poem. I had never thought of life as a series of colours before - green, yellow, red-gold, and choosing blues for winter was original (I would just automatically think white like the snow, but blues make more sense in the poem). I feel like I'm summer going into autumn at the moment.

Thank you Sarah. A beautiful review, and again I am honoured by the six stars. Where I live we don?t get snow but people do sometimes get "the blues" if the "cold" lasts too long! Thank you again. It gives me great pleasure when people enjoy my work.

Yes, I thought as I was writing the review that you wouldn't get snow in Aus. To be honest we don't get much anymore, and where I live, we usually miss the bulk of it because we're sheltered by the hills - a shame, as I love walking in it, especially when it's fresh and crunches under your feet.

I enjoyed reading the cycles of life and seasons. It seems our bodies and minds go through similar events. Everything God created are connected.
I do not understand why some people do not believe in God. If they would look around and study this earth and think deep, they would soon the picture and answer. Thank you.

Thank you Carolyn for your wise and thoughtful review. It is clear for all who want to see, that He exists and is all-powerful.

Nice job, Wendy. You have effectively compared the seasons of the year with the seasons of life. Verry good finish in the last stanza. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you! Thank you! I have just listened to it, and I found it amazing. Uncanny how my thoughts echoed those - and I also loved the music. I very much appreciate your drawing my attention to it. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Wonderful presentation to compliment your entry for the Writing Challenge, good luck with your entry. "For everything there is a season," says the Bible. I loved your way of putting this together, just right said the baby bear.

Wow, thank you for your kind words, and six stars. I'm very thankful and grateful. It pleases me that you enjoyed it a lot. It was not an easy challenge, but I'm glad I had a go.

Hello Wendy,
It seems that I've read several of your poems lately that are dealing with the passing of time and our relationship to it. It's funny how when we're younger, we are so busy raising families and going to work and trying to enjoy the time or money we have, that we don't give much thought to getting old, regardless of all the examples around us. If I didn't hurt so much, I wouldn't mind the aging process. There is something to be said about not having to be at work or worry about money or what the kids are up to. Thanks so much for sharing gal.
Have a blessed evening.

Thank you Tom. Great review. Yes, I think I am becoming increasingly aware of how fast time flies. Theres?s another one coming up too along these lines! lol. Maybe I need to get out more.

Time certainly does fly by Wendy and we have such definite seasons in the North and summer is always my favourite. We are still waiting for warm weather in England as it has been very cold just lately and what happened to flaming June? You refer to the seasons as stages in life here and I feel I have led several lifetimes already, lucky me! A poignant write, love Dolly x

Thank you Dolly. Our winter arrived a bit early, but at least we have sunshine and blue skies even though it?s cold ( by our standards. No snow!) I am glad this one pleased you too. Several lifetimes? I don?t want more than one, I think.
Thanks again.

I need to learn how to insert the images also, Wendy. I very insightful and wise poem that runs through the life cycle and the interrelationship between the seasons.
