I need a serious lesson in learning how to insert images (if ever you have a moment)--

This is clearly a winner, which is obvious because I come to it so belatedly you've been awarded the win eons ago!

Unlike nature, we humans may have our seasons cut short--what we think of as Autumn may indeed be the winter of our days.

It is for this reason we must put our house in order and always be prepared to meet the Lord.

To be honest I forget how I did it! I will look back on my computer and see if I kept any notes. If so I will share them with you with pleasure. I was pleased to reread this one myself - I had forgotten I wrote it. Thanks again for another wonderful review. I am enjoying look back over all these ....

Ah, given my (lackluster) techy track record I'd likely mess it up anyway. Much better if I just enjoy YOURS!

Very clever and creative in presentation, imagery and in words.
Each "season" is unique, beautifully written and each can stand on its own as a separate poem..
Good luck in the competition.
Best wishes,
Mary

I loved this poem, gentle and revealing. It felt like I was seeing a slideshow, life filing by stage-by-stage or a movie projector, reel, after reel of the stages of life.
Very lovely progressions.
Your poem creates heartfelt images, enveloped in nature. The sparkling part, what makes this memorable, is the vision of time.
I was reminded of how time is perspective and can be viewed differently. Some cultures view the future as behind them, and look back, as it is unseen, whereas the past is facing them, a frontal view. Past is ahead as it is something they have already seen and faced, therefore positioned in front of them, in full view range.
I love your poem and the themes that surface.ð??¸

This very well done poem of seasons of life through color is fascinating. Yesterday, in my devotions, I was fascinated by the final season as presented in the last chapter of Ecclesiastes with all its metaphors for old age and death.

Thank you Verna! Yes the theme is as old as Ecclesiastes, but still relevant. And worthwhile lessons for us.

By George, like Eliza in My Fair Lady you got the gist of the writing challenge and did it from the beginning to the end of life. You are rather talented from someone hanging upside down, Down Under. :-)

Thanks so much for reviewing! Such a fun review. But the challenge was quite a hard one, I thought! Did you know we write from the bottom of the page to the top and from right to left as well? Lol.

It always seems like life is a harsh mistress, but God is compassionate, vowing that the transition to the eternal will always remain stingless, the grave merely a qualification of a life well spent, hopefully, and the destiny qualified success. This is beautifully written dear Wendy, blessings Roy
