Beautifully presented in pictures and words. I am captivated by the words and image of "crickets nap beneath red parasols."
Thank you for the beauty of the picture and words.
Best wishes,
Mary

Definitely a beautiful picture, Gypsy, a whole field full of poppies. Your words of the tercet showed that the simple, lowly critters - the crickets sleep under the parasols provided by the blossoms of the poppies. Blessed be n hugs!

Muy beuno!

(Six years of Spanish and that's pretty much the extent of my long term memory)

I never realized Tercets originated in Japan, in the 17th century!

No wonder you're are so pristine!

I love how you make those poppies to be "red parasols" for the crickets. That's so imaginative. Yes, crickets are nocturnal because they can be pretty noisy at night! Lol.

Nature is Just one massive metaphor. There's a marvellous way of expression, by translating things into imagery that we all understand, that's what God does with us, in parables, beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy
