This poem makes me think of a teenager doing tricks on his skateboard. The word "Play" in the prompt made me think of a younger child, but I love that you've done something different.

Nice use of the words. I didn't know that people skateboarded in the winter. I guess you learn something new everyday- especially when you're almost 70! He must live in California LOL

A fun poem about this lively, active skateboarder who likes to burn the midnight oil! I really enjoyed the action in this short but clever poem, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

Cool photo. I like how different this is in its setting from other entries, and the fact that the spider is painted on a skateboard rather than being a live spider - very creative. You set the scene well. It was helpful to style the poem in such a way the words are easily found.

Boarding from morning to night. This is a fun piece. I'm not a skateboarder but your piece tells of the freedom of the skater on an empty street at night and what that might feel like. Great imagery.
