Haha! I love this! I love your bravery in writing so openly about breastfeeding, and from the baby's perspective! We need more poetry and stories like this. Normalize breastfeeding! It's not weird or gross; it's natural and awesome! I think you've done an excellent job of looking into baby's mind and expressing what he/she might be thinking. Great job!

Happiness is a mouthful of breast, and a full tummy - simple pleasures indeed. Your poem is somewhat unexpected, but is a 'natural fit' for the contest prompt.

    Your topic was unexpected because it is unusual to write about. It's a perfectly normal function but not many would expect it to be so public... well, not me, anyway. Maybe it wouldn't be unexpected to anyone else but me, a woman who has never suckled a child, only sexually-driven men.

    I don't know why you feel decrepit. Fun usually makes people feel younger.

    I don?t feel ?d? That was a front. I am who I am 74 years in the making. My one fault 👀 is opening mouth and inserting my foot. Whatever I think I say🙈
