The pictures are beautiful. I like the way you describe the patch quilt hill.
Looking from an airplane, the land below looks like patches of quilts pieced together. It is an amazing thing to see. It would be great to ride down the road and see the beauty in this picture. Thank you for the post.

Cool! I love your picture in the illustration and in your words. I didn't know what a tailorbird was but I loved all the sewing imagery. Hills do look quilted so that really worked for me.

Gypsy
I like how you have the picture of the field before it bears wheat
And the glorious beauty of the wheat flowing with the wind as the sun reflection on the golden hay.

I like your poem - Good picture presentation in both pictures - looking at the picture sewing the wheat together into a quilt - the birds are the tailors stitching it together. Clever. Good Job. Flow needs to bake a little longer?
Suggest Sewn tight into patch quilt hills? hug

The description of the birds as "tailorbirds thread through" is creative and gives a bright image of the scene in your words. Your haiku form paints a picture here, a pretty one too.

How perfect! "tailorbirds thread through." Of course, it would be the tailorbirds! I'm constantly impressed with your ability to seamlessly weave a story in these brief yet elegant forms.

Such a delight to read and with such an image!

Yes, I can see where these great hills can look not only like quits, but sometimes like patchwork quilts, a great job Gypsy, well done, blessings Roy
Suggestion : Sewn tight over quilts on hills, (there's a propensity to sacrifice definite and articles for syllables, it's poor grammar)

This is, indeed, a picture painted with words. You described the scenery in a chronological order - firstly we look at the fields, moving our glance to the hills, to look up in the end. Therefore, you mimicked the actions of a true human being who is looking at your picture. A good job :)

I think you have achieved your aim of painting with words on this Haiku, Gypsy! This is lovely imagery, and your photo art just complement your poem so beautifully! Very nice!
