Again, thank you for sharing this with us. I'm visiting one of my sons and his family. The little girls are napping, and I shared part of this post with them. It started and entire conversation.

Appreciate the review.

It's almost comical how little I've actually known after getting dates for the information. I knew that Alexander the great was the king of Macedonia and that he changed the face of history in less than 13 years, but had no idea of the actual time period until now. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your story. It is always great to learn something new, in order to expand your own horizon. Babylon is underrated as a material for a story, it is high time to change it.

I remember the words of a Christian doctor friend who was working with the Emirates airlines stationed in Dubai, saying the he thought that Dubai was the modern Babylon, (it was a reference to the very expansive opulence of Dubai as a comparison to the magnificence of ancient Babylon, and it made sense, We stayed with he and his family for a couple of weeks some years ago, well done, Brett, blessings Roy

Another interesting chapter to read is full of ancient history that I did not know. As usual, you did a great job, and I didn't see any errors. Have a great weekend. Shirley

Thank is an awful law of ancient history that is a lot to grasp. I was thinking Solomon's temple was there when Christ was on earth but that it was destroyed in 70 AD but I realize it was rebuilt and that was the second temple. Wars and conquering nations have been around forever it seems.
